I Want To Know God
UNDERSTAND THAT GOD’S DESIRE FOR YOU IS LIFE, LIFE IN ABUNDANCE!
The Bible declares: “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” —John 10:10. Giving you abundant life required the supreme sacrifice: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” —John 3:16. God desires fellowship and companionship with you. What a wonderful gift the Father has given, yet if God gave His own Son to provide an abundant and everlasting life, why don’t more people have what He has designed for us to receive? It is a question answered by this sobering realization.
ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU ARE SEPARATED FROM GOD
Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the LORD.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. Psalm 32:5 In the book of Romans chapter 5 versus 8, God demonstrated His love for us through the death of His Son. Christ had to die for us because Scripture declares all men to be sinful. Romans 3:23 further declares that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. In other words, our sin separates us from God who is perfect holiness.
